'I believe the best way to achieve and maintain good health is to address not only the physical but also the mental aspects. That's why I like to combine various disciplines, such as orthomolecular therapy, NEI (Neuro-Emotional Integration) therapy, and Human Design. This combination helps identify (and resolve!) unprocessed emotions, traumas, and limiting beliefs that can cause physical complaints, unwanted behavior, and psychological problems. I focus specifically on what suits you best.'

NUTRITION:

'I especially like to keep things simple. It has to be delicious, but above all, it shouldn't take too much time. Good preparation works really well for me. As long as I know what I'm going to eat, and it's as much as possible already prepared, there's really no reason not to eat healthy. That just makes me feel best, so it's a win-win situation!'

EFFORT:

'I love sports. Which sports I do changes from time to time, but I currently do tennis and CrossFit. I especially enjoy strength training. I also enjoy walking the dog outdoors.'

RELAXATION:

'The best way for me to relax is to exercise. Then I don't think about anything at all, except what I'm doing at that moment. Something I'm not normally very good at: I'm always thinking about something.'

MINDSET:

'If you know what's needed, take action." We're often tempted to search for more information or focus on all sorts of preconditions, while secretly we already know what we need to do. Make sure you start, and you can gradually improve from there.'

Background (study, work experience)

I first encountered orthomolecular therapy a few years ago when my GP instructed me to pick up a vitamin B12 supplement from a pharmacy. She told me it didn't matter which one, but I was overwhelmed by all the different jars. I didn't believe it would make any difference which one I took, so once I got home, I started Googling, and a whole new world opened up for me. I came across the orthomolecular therapy program and immediately thought, this is for me. I enrolled immediately and thoroughly enjoyed the program. Now I enjoy using my knowledge to help others. Over the years, NEI therapy also crossed my path. Learning to work with the biotensor seemed very useful for testing nutrition and allergies, among other things, and I eventually found it so interesting that I completed the entire program. The same applies to Human Design. That, too, seemed like a nice addition to the knowledge I already had, and the more I learned about it, the (even) more I wanted to know! So I have now acquired a number of training courses and a lot of knowledge, and I really enjoy combining these and helping people in a way that suits them best.

Personal (passions, children, etc.)

Besides work, I enjoy doing fun things with my four-year-old son. I also love animals and have two dogs and two cats, among other things. I love sports, especially CrossFit and tennis.
