Tumeric Salmon

Boost your hormones naturally. Wild salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, L-Tyrosine & L-Tryptophan, vitamin D3, selenium and zinc.

Ingredients
  • 2 wild-caught salmon fillets (preferably sockeye or king salmon for higher omega-3 content)
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil (anti-inflammatory fats support brain health)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder (contains curcumin, which enhances dopamine and serotonin)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (piperine increases curcumin absorption by 2,000%)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (vitamin C aids dopamine synthesis)
  • 2 cloves minced garlic (contains sulfur compounds that reduce neuroinflammation)
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary (antioxidants protect dopamine neurons)
  • Sea salt to taste (provides trace minerals for neurotransmitter balance)
Preparation
  1. Marinate the Salmon – In a bowl, mix olive oil, turmeric, black pepper, lemon juice, garlic, and rosemary. Coat the salmon fillets evenly and let sit for 15–30 minutes to enhance nutrient absorption.

  2. Cook to Preserve Nutrients – Bake the Salmon at 375°F for 12–15 minutes or pan-sear on medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side. Avoid overcooking to retain omega-3 integrity.

  3. Serve with Dopamine-Supporting Sides – Pair with:
    • Steamed leafy greens (spinach/kale for folate, which aids dopamine metabolism)
    • Quinoa or lentils (plant-based proteins with L-tyrosine)
    • Avocado (healthy fats for brain cell membrane support)
