Vegan cheese spread

Do you eat lactose-free or vegan? This delicious spread with nutritional yeast is highly recommended! Delicious as a side or a spread for a wrap or seed cracker.

 

Ingredients
  • 150 grams of cashew nuts
  • 5 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • pepper and salt
  • smoked paprika powder

Garnish:

  • 1/2 tbsp chili oil
  • smoked paprika powder
  • sesame seed
  • grapes
  • walnuts
Preparation
  1. Make sure you soak the cashew nuts in water for at least 3 hours. Otherwise, warm water will help them soften faster.
  2. Roast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan.
  3. Blend all ingredients into a smooth mass using a food processor.
  4. Ensure the correct thickness with water and add more pepper, salt, olive oil or nutritional yeast to taste.

    Delicious for dipping with vegetables, crackers or (rice) waffles. Enjoy!
