Pistache butter

Pistachio nuts contain a lot of protein, fiber, healthy fats, vitamin B6 and minerals. And the pistachio nut contains 'polyphenols': strong antioxidants and stimulate fat burning. Together with MCT oil, this pistachio butter is perfect for a healthy snack.

Ingredients
  • 150 grams of good quality peeled pistachios
  • 3 tbsp MCT (coconut) oil
  • pinch of Himalayan salt
Preparation

1. Mix all ingredients in the blender until desired thickness and add extra coconut oil if necessary. Make sure you use at least 150 grams of nuts to mix properly!

2. Blend between 5 and 10 minutes for a paste with or without pieces of pistachio nuts.

3. Store in a closed jar in the refrigerator.

4. Use the pistachio butter on your pancake for breakfast, as a snack, in your smoothie or to finish your dessert.
