Chick pea burgers

6 burgers:

Ingredients
  • 400 g chick peas (drained and rinsed with water)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 apple
  • Small zucchini
  • ½ teaspoon red/green curry powder
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts
  • ½ cup fresh coriander
  • 1 union
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 glove of garlic
  • 150 g chick pea flower (natuurwinkel)
  • ½  cup flax or sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon extra vierge olive or coconut oil
Preparation
  1. Put the zucchini and eggs in the food processor or blender and blend for about 60 seconds. Add chick peas, union, garlic, ginger and curry paste. 
  2. Blend till the mixture looks like hummus.
  3. Mix de chickpea flower, alfalfa, apple, flax or sesame seeds and coriander with the rest of the ingredients using a spoon.
  4. Heat a (grill) pan on a medium fire. Add some oil and cook the burgers approximately 3 minutes at each side. Use 2 spoons to get the mixture in the pan.
  5. You can eat 2 burgers as a snack, and 3 burgers for lunch or dinner.
