Made out of 6 ingredients: carrot, white onion, flax seed, smoked paprika powder, Himalayan salt and sunflower seeds.
Ingredients
- 4 large carrots
- ½ white onion
- ¼ cup ground flax seeds
- ¾ cup filtered water
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon Himalayan sea salt
- 2 tablespoon sunflower seeds
Preparation
- In small bowl put flax seeds and water & set aside for 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 95°C.
- Place carrots and onion in food processor and mash until smooth.
- Add flax seeds, salt and paprika powder to the mixture.
- Place baking paper on a baking tray and use a spoon to scoop the mixture on the baking paper.
- Make sure the mixture is equally divided and sprinkle sunflower seeds on top.
- Place tray in oven for 6-7 hours. Cut or break in pieces. Keep in storage container.
