Gluten free hazelnut bread

Make your own bread of hazelnuts, coconut flour, coconut oil, chia seeds and fresh spices. Gluten, dairy and egg free! Use hummus or your favourite spread as a topping.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups (230g) coconut flour  
  • 225 g hazelnoten
  • 1 cup (100g) unsweetened desiccated coconut
  • 50 gcoconut oil
  • 4 teaspoons No egg (egg replacer)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees.
  2. Grease a small bread loaf tin and line with parchment paper.
  3. Grind the hazlenuts to flour in a blender or kitchen machine. 
  4. Mix the hazelnut flour, coconut, NO egg, spices, sea salt and baking powder in a bowl.
  5. Add the coconut oil and water. 
  6. Add the apple cider vinegar and gently stir thoroughly. Don’t overwork the mixture.
  7. Pour into the bread tin and bake for 45 minutes.
