Energy balls

Energy balls as a tasty snack, after exercise or birthday treat!

Ingredients

10-12 energy balls:

  • 100 g dates
  • 75 g nuts of your choice (our choice: almonds)
  • 2 tbsp oatmeal
  • 2 to 3 tbsp liquid coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp coconut grater
  • For other variations, e.g.: nut butter, seeds & kernels, raw cocoa
Preparation
  1. Deseed the dates and, if necessary, soak them in hot water for 15 minutes.
  2. Grind the nuts first.
  3. Then add the soft dates, nut mix, oatmeal and coconut oil.
  4. Mix everything into a coarse mixture.
  5. Is it still too dry? Add a little coconut oil.
  6. Is it too wet? Add a little oatmeal.
  7. Roll the balls into the desired size.
  8. Roll them in the coconut grater.
  9. Tip: make different types!
