Orthomolecular medicine is part of naturopathy and is based on the latest scientific insights in nutrition. The advantage of the orthomolecular approach is that an orthomolecular therapist goes deeper into nourishment, nutrients, and the effect of these after absorption in the body. It makes no sense just to count calories because no calorie is the same. Food should be divided into macronutrients (proteins, fats, and carbohydrates) and micronutrients. We guide you exactly what you need with a personal health plan with lots of variations and quick and easy recipes.
Physical exercise is essential for a healthy lifestyle. We analyze your movement pattern and, depending on your goals, determine the best form of exercise for you, when to exercise and how you can optimally nourish yourself afterward to promote recovery.
Deep relaxation is not only a good night's sleep. It is essential during the day for a good recovery. In relaxation, you recover, build cells and muscle mass, remove toxins, and relax. We often forget or find it challenging to relax correctly. However, it is necessary for a healthy lifestyle, so we advise you to build this routine into your daily life. You will be amazed at how quickly this pays off and improves your digestion and metabolism too!
Your mindset is your way of thinking and the mental attitude you have adopted. The way we look at the world affects how we feel. Everyone reacts differently to the same situation. Mapping out your personal beliefs, obstacles, and resources during your consultation will help you achieve a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
Because Your Health Coach follows the principle of preventive medicine, feces, blood, urine, and saliva analysis is also possible. This is how we find the root cause of health issues. Such as irritable bowel syndrome, food intolerances, hormonal imbalance, chronic fatigue, chronic inflammation, and concentration problems. The blood samples are sent to a laboratory (RP), and the results will follow 14 days later. The lab bills the cost of the test(s) directly to the client.
The price range of lab work varies from 90 to 239 euros and can be checked in our price list.
Food intolerance pre-screening
Test for IgG and IgG4 on seven foods: milk, egg protein, wheat, tomato, pineapple, peanut, and salmon. IgE (allergy) is also measured.
Stool examination
Intestinal flora research, digestion, Helicobacter Pylori, Candida, yeasts, fungi, virulent factors (bacteria in biofilm), inflammation, food allergy, leaky gut, the immune system in the intestine, histamine intolerance, parasitic load.
Thyroid examination
In addition to TSH, we measure the free thyroid hormones T3 and T4. To assess whether the thyroid gland is functioning correctly, T3 and T4 must also be measured. It is also possible to measure reverse T3 and thyroid antibodies (anti-Tg, anti-TPO, and TSH receptor antibodies).
Hormone diagnostics
To get insight into your hormones, we measure the female sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA) or male sex hormones (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, and DHEA). We also offer a stress index test, measuring cortisol and DHEA at five different times in one day. This gives us insight into your stress tolerance and stage of adrenal fatigue.
Of course, other tests are an option too. This is what we do, tailor-made advice customized to your body.
